technical help please

hi folks i am the latest newbie ,hopefully someone can help. just replaced front brakepads on a vito 108 cdi ,now cant seem to get good pressure on the pedal. i am a technical guy and had just had my mechanic stop by to take a look , he also is puzzled . when engine is started the pedal goes to the floor slowley. i am thinking master cylinder but all ok before pad change , done all the normal bleeding etc . any ideas anyone please

hi, and welcome.. also a newby myself..

clamp off you brake flexys (carefully) one by one ,and try brakes.
if the problem does not occur with one clamped thats your problem area.
sounds to me that there may be a sticking caliper/piston ..

yeah tried that yesterday all wheel cylinders are ok. According to a pal of mine in the UK who is a MOT tester, apparently there is a inherent problem with the vito of a certain age and that is with a bypass valve in the servo , i will find out more on monday and post his findings . thanks for the reply anway
