expansion bottle over pressuring and losing water

Hello I have a 2008 w639 111cdi vito that has 140,000 on the clock. When I do motorway speeds the radiator expansion bottle pressures and the water level drops to the point the warning light on the dashboard cums on. Can anyone tell me if this could be head gasket or radiator blockage or is there a common fault I need to look at
