Morning all, I'm in the process of buying a Vito people carrier/van from a friend of mine. It's a 2002 model with 110000 miles on in, 11 months mot and some tax.
I've been told there is only 1 key (are these expensive to replace?) and the central locking is a little hit & miss and the passenger electric window can be a little tempremental.
Apparently the engine, clutch and box are fine and another mate of mine has quoted £150 for a thorough service. The van is costing me £1600 and I'm also led to believe that it will do 40+mpg which is better than I get now out of either of my other cars.
The body is a bit scabby in places but nothing some elbow grease, sand paper and paint won't fix.

No doubt I'll be on here quite a bit asking questions every now and then. The van will mostly be used for commuting but also hobby use so I need suss out some sort of bed and other creature comforts for it.

Cheers, Mike
